Fleet allows for two forms of social structures:
Alliances
- Allow for loosely knit groups
- Provides game benefits:
- Alliance Shared combat logs
- A shared Alliance Balance which can be managed by alliance members with the designated permissions
- An Alliance chat Channel
- Group combat - automatically defend alliance mates who share the same tile
Factions
- Allow for groups based on faction territory
- Provides game benefits:
- Faction Shared combat logs
- A shared Faction Balance which can be managed by faction members with the designated permissions
- A Faction chat Channel
- Group combat - automatically defend other members of the same faction who share the same tile
- Faction Upgrades
- Credit bonus to factions completed missions
- Special mission types (Future)
Restrictions
- Faction members can join any alliance.
- Alliance members can join any faction.
- Faction and Alliance leaders can kick any member from their group
